Keyboard Cat Day 4

What's up y'all?

Today proved to be extraordinarily satisfying and productive in many ways for the Keyboard Cats (Lance, Lauren, Carolyn, Emma, Black Jack, and Charlie).  As far as our project, we have gone from an empty room with a warped floor to four walls with a dirt floor (after ripping out 3 layers of flooring and all of the joists) to a new frame and joists with secure subflooring.  Additionally we have patched up the drywall around the room, primed and painted the whole room, cleaned leftover adhesive from the hall, built a ramp over uneven hallway flooring, and attatched trim in the hallway... so pretty much were the best group out of the bunch.  Despite all the grueling work we have accomplished there is no shortage of fun in our group.  From playing with Sandy the dog to long car adventures to Walmart, Loews, and the ice cream shop, we always have something to talk and laugh about.  After we finished working the fun continued with our trip to the marina for the ASP picnic with the families.  It was so much fun swimming and getting to know the other families and our own families we work with even better.  I especially loved talking to Carter (the man who owns our house) and learning how clever and funny he really is.  Were looking forward to finishing up the flooring and other various projects on our final day at the house tomorrow. We hope everyone is doing well and we can't wait to see you all and tell you more on Saturday!

Sending Lots of Love,

Lauren De Vries and the Keyboard Cats
