It's "thrift shop Thursday," but it still feels like it is "would you rather Wednesday". Today was a dandy day. I (Matt Hennessy) finally reunite with my old group after spending two days with Denver the Guilty Dog. It feels nice to walk on concrete and work rather than lying under a house and insulating on a two foot ceiling. On the other hand, we got some solid work done today at the Tanya household. Kay and I screwed in some fake and plastic stones on to the wood at the bottom of Tanya's house. We didn't quite finish what we started, but we got enough done to finish it quickly manana. The other part of our group installed a dope bathtub and also put up some drywall in the bathroom. They were having some troubles with a wee-bit of leakage in the toilet, but they fixed it all up in the end. Tanya's dog Leuger (I think that's how you spell it) was barking up a storm today. He's a tiny and a very irritating pup, but I've learned to keep my distance from him. The other puppies didn't quite make it to the end of the week though. We arrived on Monday with six baby puppies in a box..... And then there was one on Thursday. We're sad some didn't make it, but hoping for the best for the last one!
